The Point at Petite Calivigny Ground Breaking

The Pointe at Petite Calivigny, one of the real estate development projects approved by the Government of Grenada for its Citizenship by Investment Programme, celebrated its ground-breaking ceremony on 26 February 2016. The development is the labour of love of Dr Christofer Ashby, a Grenadian national living on the island of Carriacou. It stretches for eleven acres of verdant land, overlooking Calivigny Island, Hog Island, and Woburn Bay. The Pointe at Petite Calvigny is due to become one of Grenada’s most spectacular resorts, adorned by stunning villas, picturesque condominiums, and charming seaside rooms. The development will unfold all the way down to the azure Caribbean Sea, where a modern, fully equipped marina will welcome mega-yachts and other luxurious vessels.

The groundbreaking ceremony marked the official start of construction for the Pointe at Petite Calvigny, which will be completed in two phases. The first phase will see the construction of 12 condominiums and 4 villas at the Private Residence Club in a period of two years, while the second phase will see the employment of 125 Grenadian workers.

Dr. Christofer Ashby, who will be working on the project through his real estate company, CA Partners, is also the founder of the Ashby Windward Foundation, which is a charitable organization instituted with the goal of improving the medical healthcare services of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
